Wine Tasting Experience
In the heart of Areni village, surrounded by sun-drenched vineyards and rugged red cliffs, Areni Wine Art is a small family winery dedicated to expressing the true character of our land. Here, winemaking is not only agriculture — it is art, history, and hospitality.
Our vineyards grow at high altitude on volcanic and limestone soils, shaped by hot days, cool nights, and the dry climate of Vayots Dzor. These natural conditions give our grapes deep concentration, vibrant acidity, and unmistakable personality.
At the center of our wines is the indigenous Areni Noir — Armenia’s ancient red grape, cultivated in this valley for thousands of years. Alongside Areni, we craft expressive whites and unique blends using local varieties, each telling the story of our terroir.
We focus on small-batch, handcrafted wines made with minimal intervention:
Areni Noir Reds – elegant, fresh, and spicy, with notes of cherries, red berries, herbs, and volcanic minerality
Reserve & Oak-Aged Wines – deeper, structured, and complex expressions for long aging
Pet-Nat & Natural Styles – lively, unfiltered, and playful wines full of character
Whites & Amber – aromatic, and refreshing, perfect for warm Areni evenings
Every bottle reflects patience, authenticity, and respect for tradition. Many of our wines are fermented with native yeasts and aged in Armenian oak or traditional clay karas, honoring ancient techniques while embracing modern precision.
Areni Wine Art is also a place to slow down and connect. Guests are invited to visit the cellar, taste directly from the barrels, and share stories over a glass of wine. Whether you join us for a guided tasting, a dinner pairing, or a sunset on the terrace, you will experience the warmth of Armenian hospitality.
We believe wine tastes better when it is personal — when you know the soil, the people, and the story behind every bottle.
Come discover Areni through our wines.
